The future of museums
Employer: Bertills & Jung Role: Project leader, Moderator
Bertills & Jung is an Österbotten based PR agency. As their Helsinki consultant I worked for expansion in the capital area and Nordics. For a variety of costumers in both the private and public sector I delivered analytical reports, communication strategies, led conferences and talks.
One of the projects I am proud of is the museum days in Vaasa where all museums in Österbotten and some from the capital area gathered. I got to plan, host and moderate fascinating discussions about the future for museums, AI and digital collections.
In the eye of the storm during the #metoo movement
Employer: Metoouppropen Role: Coordinator, Moderator, Press contact
During #metoo the Swedish initiators began organizing in a Facebook group. I was the coordinator and spider in the web. Our first mission was collecting testimonies and connecting people. Then it all started to grow, as more people heard of us and found a way of organizing with our support. The group gathered initiators behind nearly 70 separate initiatives, most of them connected to a labour groups such as actors, doctors, lawyers and teachers.
As a front person of the organisation I frequently made interviews on live TV, radio, magazines and the largest news papers. Our work was recognized with several prestigious communication awards, and I was invited to speak at award ceremonies held at for example advertising agencies and universities. As a facilitator and organizer I prepared representatives for meeting the press and supported them, both mentally and with for example written pressreleases and contacts to ministers.
One of our many achievements was a report of demands to the Swedish government in 2018. The report was handed over to the Minister of Equality Åsa Regnér during a press conference with full media coverage.
I went on a lecture tour with the former Equality Minister of Sweden Alice Bah Kunhke, talking on the subject of learnings from organizing the Swedish #metoo-movement and the future. It took place in Sweden’s top 5 universities.
Inspiration is found in Berlin
Employer: Friends Agenda Role: Junior PR consultant
One of the projects I am most proud of was for our client Flemmingsberg Science. I arranged and executed a trip to Berlin with a full program during two days. I led our group of around 20 people in management positions around Berlin. They got guided tours at some of Berlin’s coworking spaces, scientists in European city development, Berlin based architects and some of the cities most interesting entrepreneurs in city planning. For this project I needed both my planning and people skills.
During my time as a junior consultant at Friends Agenda I did research, took care of costumers, pitched for many many potential clients, wrote press releases and functioned as project lead.
Process leader for Swedish Commerce
Employer: Effect Reklambyrå Role: Communications consultant
In one of my most exciting client works I analyzed Swedish Commerce's role as a trade federation for actors within e-commerce in a two-phase project.
Phase 1. First, I conducted interviews with CEOs from top Swedish e-commerce companies, such as Eequity, Adlibris and Lekmer, resulting in unique insights from the industry. This became a report and a presentation.
Phase 2. Building on our new insights, the second phase focused on Swedish Commerce’s customer journey. I led the workshops, and made the management group recreate their costumer journey using post its and pens. Insights helped Swedish Commerce take the next steps towards efficient internal and external communication.
Coordinator and project leader
The foundation Årsta gård runs one of Sweden’s most unique schools for children and youth with disabilities. In a green oasis in the southern parts of Stockholm the children grow vegetables, help make honey, feed the chickens and of course - go to school.
At Årsta gård I started as an assistent to the children but soon moved up to the office where i did the daily planning of the work days for the 90+ staff members in the school. I opened the school doors every morning, updated myself on who was at work and not and made sure everyone knew where to be. This meant taking good care of people while solving complicated puzzles all day long.
The school also had a need for updated visuals and copy. In close collaboration with the school principal and operations manager, I wrote all new texts for web and info material. In spring time me and a photographer did a large analogue photo shoot.
Childrens theatre producer
During my first years in Stockholm I was a Producer and Head of Communications at Teater Tre, a renowned movement-based theatre company specializing in mime and physical theatre. Touring both nationally and internationally, Teater Tre brings wordless storytelling to audiences of all ages across the globe.
In my role, I was responsible for planning and executing the company’s productions, from early development to final performance as well as leading all aspects of marketing, communications, and press outreach. I collaborated closely with creative teams, coordinated tours, and built visibility for the theatre’s work both in Sweden and abroad.
The position combined artistic insight with strategic communication, and allowed me to merge production management with audience engagement both on a national and international stage.
